Terminal 1 Maps — Level by Level Ground, L1, L2, L3

Ground Level — Ground Transportation
Rental car counters. Limo and taxi pickup. Link Train to Terminal 3. Buses and shuttles.
Level 1 — Arrivals Pickup
Baggage claim (carousels 1-12). Customs and immigration. UP Express station to Union Station. Passenger pickup doors A through H.
Doors: A-B (domestic), C-D (international, busiest), E-F (US arrivals), G-H (group/commercial, limo/taxi zone).
Tip: Door C-D are busiest. Ask arriving passengers to come to Door A-B or Door G-H.
Level 2 — Departures Drop-off
Check-in counters (Air Canada, Star Alliance, others). Security checkpoints. Departure gates D, E, F. Drop-off doors D, E, F, G.
Doors: D (Air Canada domestic), E (Air Canada international/US, main drop-off), F (Star Alliance, less busy), G (group travel, limos, commercial).
Tip: Door E is busiest. Door F is quieter. Door G is for commercial vehicles (limos, taxis).
Level 3 — Check-in Some Airlines
Additional check-in counters for some airlines. Less crowded than Level 2.
Tip: Check with your airline before going to Level 3. Not all airlines operate here.

Driving Directions — From 4 Locations to Pearson
From Downtown Toronto
Gardiner Expressway West. It merges onto Highway 427 North. Take Exit 147 for Highway 409 West. Keep right at the fork to stay on 409 West. Follow 409 West to the end — it becomes Airport Road. Turn left onto Silver Dart Drive. Follow signs to Terminal 1.
Time: 25-35 minutes.
From Mississauga
Take Highway 401 East. Take Exit 359 for Highway 409 West. Follow 409 West to Airport Road. Turn left onto Silver Dart Drive. Follow signs to Terminal 1.
Time: 15-20 minutes.
From Brampton
Take Highway 410 South. You have two options.
Option A (toll): Take Highway 407 East, then Highway 427 South, then exit to Highway 409 West.
Option B (no toll): Continue on 410 South to Highway 401 East, then take Exit 359 to Highway 409 West.
From 409 West, continue to Airport Road. Turn left onto Silver Dart Drive. Follow signs to Terminal 1.
Time: 20-25 minutes.
From Scarborough
Take Highway 401 West. Take Exit 359 for Highway 409 West. Follow 409 West to Airport Road. Turn left onto Silver Dart Drive. Follow signs to Terminal 1.
Time: 30-40 minutes.
Traffic alert:
Highway 401 West from Scarborough to Pearson is heavily congested between 7-9 AM and 3-6 PM. Allow an extra 15-20 minutes.
